  1. yum yum yum! we LOVE sweet potato fries! in fact, last weekend i went to make potato wedges with russet potatoes, and my 4 year old said, "awe, i like the orange ones!" your kitchen is lovely and inspiring. this weekend we need to make some creative leftovers. any ideas for leftover sourdough rolls once the brisket is gone to make sammies with?

  2. The first thing that comes to mind is garlic croutons to top a great salad or soup...butternut sounds yum. Also, bread crumbs for anything from breading to saute or in meatloaf...i make a horseradish meatloaf that would love those. I think you could even try them in chocolate bread pudding.

    Lately, way too much baking (I can feel it in my jeans!) but "good to the grain" is just brilliant and I cannot resist....
